Standing Room Only at Baywood's Sold-Out Homebuyer Seminar

Toronto, ON. February 20, 2004-Baywood Homes hosted a free Homebuyer Seminar on February 18 with a solid line-up of guest speakers from the home buying industry.  More than 30 homebuyers gathered at Baywood’s Napa Valley Estates model home to listen to presentations from RBC Royal Bank’s Account Manager of Residential Mortgages Eva Grills, GE Capital’s Mortgage Insurance Specialist Peggy Mason, Real Estate Lawyer Irwin Hamilton, First Canadian Title Representative Carol Henry and Baywood’s Pre-Delivery Inspector Dino DiPietro.

“In less than 90 minutes, and under one roof, homebuyers learned pretty much all they need to know about buying a new home in Ontario,” says Baywood’s Communications Manager Lisa Rysyk.  “Attendees really enjoyed the casual atmosphere and the ability to ask questions of the home buying professionals."

The seminar covered a variety of mortgage programs including cash back incentives and options for buyers without down payments.  Attendees also learned about the Canada Mortgage & Housing Corporation’s mandatory mortgage insurance for those putting down less than 25%, as well as the various legal aspects, title insurance options and the numerous builder warranties that are backed by the Ontario New Home Warranty Program.
